One day you’re upbeat, aiming for the sky,
Next, you’re down and don’t know why.
What looked bright slips through your hand—
All I can say is, nothing is for sure, man.

On a sunny day, rain spoils the show,
All is well, but the next moment — who knows?
Some dreams of yours are gone like sand,
All in this game you can’t understand.

People you trusted drift away,
Even your life isn’t here to stay.
Promises break, love can change,
Turning to hate in a realm so strange.

Keep fighting for rewards to be won,
All I can say is, “There is more to be done.”
Dodge the bullets, run while you can—
