I have sported the clean-shaven look for as long as I can remember. I did try growing a mustache in my college days but it looked scrawny, and a friend of mine laughed at it. That’s when I started shaving—especially my mustache—almost every three days. I like the clean-shave for its simplicity, low maintenance, and neatness.
I’ve been wondering how a beard would look on my face. For fun’s sake, I decided to carry out an experiment. I took a photo of myself and, using Paintbrush, added a beard. Then, I ran it through some online photo editing tools to turn it into a sketch-style portrait. In the end, I was pleased with the interesting transformation!
I am not really keen on having an actual beard anytime soon. I am not patient enough to grow one, and the itchiness is a big turnoff. Maybe when I am around fifty-five, I’ll try a full beard. For now, I am happy with the online edits and my clean shave.
